At this year’s prestigious Royal Sandringham Flower show Richard McCarraher built an amazing show garden in conjunction with Red Balloon, a local charity which helps children in Norwich area who, for different reasons cannot attend school. Red Balloon have an academic program in Norwich which is run by charitable donations and is a safe haven for many young people.

The garden itself was designed and constructed by Mr. McCarraher together with RHS graduates of Easton and Otley College from Norfolk with the help of Avant 640 machine which they used to dig the pond and plant the flowers. This was the third year they attended the show and they were awarded in the Small Gardens Class with a silver medal.

“Very versatile machine with many capabilities for all kinds of garden work”

AVANT TECNO UK staff would like to congratulate Mr. McCarraher and all who took part in building the garden!
