AVANT Tecno (UK) Ltd names Community Sports Foundation as its Charity of the year for 2020-21

Avant Tecno (UK) Ltd helps to raise crucial funds to Community Sports Foundation  (CSF) for families and individuals in East Anglia to achieve their goals through sports, supporting some of the most disadvantaged, disabled and talented people across Norfolk. CSF uses sport to improve the quality of life for those who need it most in Norfolk, raising money to help disadvantaged people and those with disabilities to experience the benefits of sport; keeping them active and happy while improving their health and skills for the future. 

The Foundation's vision is to help people achieve their goals by delivering quality, innovative services through football and sport.

CSF helps over 38,000 people every year achieve their goals through sport, and the new hub will the future cornerstone for this work

Raimo Ala-Korpi joined AVANT UK as MD in 2014 and since then AVANT ‘s charitable work has not gone unnoticed . AVANT UK has supported and raised funds for other local UK charities including Red Balloon, MacMillian and Suffolk Ambulance Rescue Service to name a few.  Leading by example Raimo undertook on his own sponsored activity for the CSF in September and has pledged that AVANT staff will take part in various activities across the coming months to support the joint project, from walking the Norfolk Coast to jumping 12,000ft high out of a plane.

Build The Nest campaign

AVANT's partnership and support towards the Nest, Build the Nest campaign and Community Sports Foundation will be delivered in multiple ways. Helping to guarantee that the vital programmes, the NEST infrastructure and building project can proceed as planned during the pandemic. 

The Build the Nest campaign needs just £100,000 of fundraising to reach its £4.6million total target, the cost of construction of Phase Two at The Nest.

Norwich City Football Club pledged £500,000 of match-funding to help raise the final £1million, promising to match any further fundraising until the campaign is completed.
