Avant loaders working at the Snowvillage in Lapland

Avant e6 and 760i loaders have been building the amazing SnowVillage in Lapland, Finland. In the winter season 2017/2018 the entire hotel is Game of Thrones themed, which has brought a lot of attention to the SnowVillage also internationally. Snow Village – Game of Thrones® has been created in cooperation with HBO Nordic.

The SnowVillage has been built for the 17th time in winter 2017/2018. Around 15 million kilos of snow and 400 000 kilos of crystal clear natural ice have been used to build the amazing SnowVillage which changes in shape, size and design each year. The SnowVillage – all made of ice and snow – consists of a Snow Hotel, with snow rooms and suites, Ice Restaurant, Ice Bar and Ice Chapel. All in all, the SnowVillage covers an area of about 20 000 m2.

See you at Bauma 2019

The Avant 800 series will be presented to the public at the Bauma 2019 trade fair in Munich, Germany from the 8th to the 14th of

April. The world’s largest trade fair for the construction industry, Bauma is held every three years at the Neue Messe München.

The last time Bauma was held in 2016, 3 425 exhibitors from 58 countries participated. Over the seven days the trade fair was open, Bauma welcomed 583 736 visitors from 219 countries. About 1500 journalists and media representatives from 47 countries were on hand to cover the event.
